Parked cars blamed for bins not being emptied
Delays to rubbish collections have continued for residents in Congleton, they said this week.
People living on Swan Street told the Chronicle that one of the main problems was cars parked on the road, blocking access to waste collection vehicles.
Pam Davey said: “They can’t get up the road because of the cars parking. The parking a round here is a bigger issue than the bins. You get people coming home in their big work vans, but they’ve also got their own car at home as well.
“We’ll have our bins out here ready overnight for them to be collected but some weeks they just aren’t collected.”
