Petition – Staffies aren’t ‘dangerous’
More than 200 hundred people in the Congleton constituency have signed a petition calling for Staffordshire bull terriers to be left out of the Dangerous Dogs Act.
The national petition was started by people opposed to suggestions that Staffordshire bull terriers should be included on the list of prohibited dogs. The act was introduced following a lot of reports in the Press about dogs – in particular pit bull types – mauling people.
