Posthumously honoured for being one of bravest

Congleton backpacker Tom Jackson, killed while trying to protect a woman during a knife attack in Australia, has been posthumously awarded the Queen’s Gallantry Medal, one of the highest honours for acts of bravery.
Also awarded the medal was another man involved in the incident as well as a police officer who confronted a terrorist during the London Bridge attack last year.
