Potholes repairs ‘failing to stand the test of time’

Action is being demanded to fill Cheshire East’s potholes after councillors complained that patched-up roads are breaking up again.
Coun Mick Warren, Independent member for Macclesfield East, told the recent full Cheshire East council meeting that two potholes in his ward had reappeared just three weeks after they were repaired.
Coun Jonathan Parry, Labour member of Middlewich Town Council, also hit out at “extremely substandard” repairs that were “failing to stand the test of time”.
