SWETTENHAM VICTORIA Nail-biting afternoon
Despite the challenging weather, which has led to the driest growing season for several decades, it was a nail-biting afternoon at Swettenham Victoria as James Gordon and Sue Whiting came head to head in many classes with often only grains between the berry weights.
Sue Whiting received the cups for the premier berry, heaviest twins and best beaten berry while James Gordon received the cups for the heaviest Edith Cavell and Lord Kitchener.
Thanks went to all those who supported the show and a special thank you went to Angela Davies for weighing.
