Sandbach train fan becomes Virgin’s youngest driver
A young train fan from Sandbach has become Virgin Trains’ youngest driver.
Lincoln Singleton, (5), who has Duchenne muscular dystrophy, became a train driver for the day at Virgin’s driving school in Crewe.
Duchenne’s is one of the most common and severe forms of muscular dystrophy (a genetic condition that gradually causes the muscles to weaken) mainly affecting boys in early childhood. The surprise visit was organised by Virgin Trains to make precious memories with his family.
