School awarded for its mental health support
Scholar Green Primary School has been recognised for its approach to mental well-being.
It was recently appointed as a “flagship” school, one of only three primary schools chosen in Cheshire East, having worked with the Emotionally Healthy Children and Young People’s Programme.
The school has now been given the AcSEED Award having been assessed by the team from AcSEED, an initiative founded by young people with direct personal experience of mental health illness at a young age.
The award is a quality assurance mark presented to schools that have made a “substantial effort” to support the mental health of their students.
