Store’s closure could spell end of post office

Congleton town centre could be left without a post office after a decision to close Bargain Booze on Mill Street, where it is located.
Bargain Booze staff, who said they would be made redundant when the store closes on 10th September, have spoken of their shock this week about the decision, while the Post Office has moved to reassure that it is committed to maintaining an outlet in the area.
