The month to ditch a ‘bad relationship’ with smoking

The health chiefs who plan and buy healthcare for Cheshire have backed the Stoptober campaign, which helps smokers split up from their relationship with smoking.
The county’s NHS clinical commissioning groups are urging smokers to follow Stoptober and “end a bad relationship” by splitting up with smoking for 28 days from 1st October.
The latest data from the University College London Smoking Toolkit Study suggests a 2.2% drop in adult smoking prevalence so far in 2019.
