Traffic ‘chaos’ concern over homes plan
Plans for 45 homes in Congleton should be thrown out because of highway concerns, town councillors decided.

But at a meeting of Congleton Town Council’s Planning Committee on Thursday members voted to oppose the application.
Councillors believed there would be an increase in traffic, although Coun Amanda Martin questioned whether that was relevant as outline planning permission had been granted at appeal for up to 48 dwellings.
