Zipping along in aid of rheumatism research
A Congleton pensioner has taken a ride on the world’s fastest zip line, raising over £1,000 for a hospital that treated her.
Janet Moss, (73), didn’t let her age stop her from experiencing Zip World Velocity Two, at Penrhyn Slate Quarry, near Bethesda, North Wales.
Daredevils can reach speeds of more than 100mph on the 1,555 metres-long zip line as they hang 500ft above the quarry.
