All-weather pitch for primary school
A primary school could be set to receive an all-new multi-games pitch facility.
Elworth Hall Primary School, in Sandbach, has submitted plans to Cheshire East Council for a games facility that will be suitable for all weather conditions on their current playing field.
The current playing field is unusable for five months of the year, when adverse weather conditions cause it to become waterlogged, among other issues.
The proposed new all-weather pitch will be covered in artificial grass, with a two-metre high, fast-mesh fence surrounding it.
