Bike ride claim is an ‘utter fallacy’
The director of Sandbach Transport Festival has labelled claims that he did not inform the organisers of a charity motorbike ride of safety issues as “a complete and utter fallacy”.
The festival announced two weeks ago that it would not provide the location for the conclusion of the Big Ride Out because of “serious safety concerns”.
The Big Ride Out, an annual charity motorcycle ride made up of motorcycles and scooters, has finished at the festival for the last three years.
The 35-mile ride is organised in support of St Luke’s Hospice in Winsford and is led by the charity’s “iconic” red double-decker bus.
