A Holmes Chapel resident has said the council “will have blood on its hands” if it does not address road safety.
Janet Emmett, who lives at Mill Lane, has raised a number of concerns about the drainage, which has caused flooding and black ice on the road, as well as the speed and weight limits, which she claimed are “regularly ignored”.
She said there have been “countless” accidents on the road and that she feared a listed building — a former mill — could eventually be damaged.
