‘Dangerous’ crossing will not be upgraded
A “dangerous” crossing near the Wheatsheaf public house in Sandbach will not be upgraded by Cheshire East Highways, a town councillor has said.
Sandbach resident Dennis Goode, (81), of Cecil Rigby Close, and his partner Barbara Wilding, (77), have been campaigning to have the Crewe Road crossing upgraded since October last year, when Mr Goode was almost hit while trying to cross.
The pair contacted Sandbach town councillor Keith Haines and Cheshire East Highways to raise their concerns.
