Expanding town could need more councillors
Requests to increase the number of councillors in Sandbach have been made in response to the town’s increasing population.
The town council’s proposal is in response to the Local Governance Review being carried out by Cheshire East.
The review is assessing town and parish boundaries, the number of town and parish councillors and the arrangements for wards.
Sandbach Town Council’s Planning and Consultation Committee has submitted a report of its view of the review.
