Farmers asked to check their land in bid to reduce flooding
Farmers have been asked to make sure ditches and culverts are kept clear in a bid to reduce flooding across the borough.
Cheshire East Council said it was taking measures on its own land to improve drainage, where necessary, and its environmental services teams had also stepped up gully cleaning and street sweeping.
The council urged communities, landowners and partners to come together to help tackle the scale and extent of future flooding incidents across the borough.
