Headteacher ‘blown away’ by young eco campaigners
A number of inspirational children at a local primary school have been pushing for their teachers, parents and school friends to limit their plastic use to tackle global warming.
A group of Warmingham C of E Primary School’s students wrote to the Chronicle last week to urge readers to be wary of the devastating impact that non-recycled plastic has on the oceans and marine life.
Reporter Charles Gray sat down with the four young eco campaigners — Niamh Cannings, (10), Isobel James, Jess Price and Bobby Foster, all aged 11, following a visit to the school for a talk about what else they’re doing to help spread the word.
