Hi-tech surgery for woman with rare brain condition
A woman from Sandbach will undergo specialist surgery for a rare neurological condit-ion, after suffering from what she thought were harmless migraines.
Lor Bingham, a self-employed book editor from Elworth, was diagnosed with an arteriovenous malformation (AVM) in March. The condition is an abnormal tangle of blood vessels connecting arteries and veins, which disrupts normal blood flow and oxygen circulation.
