NHS demands £83k S106 cash to fund bigger health centre
An NHS Trust has requested more than £80,000 from developers to help fund healthcare in Sandbach as part of a planning application.
NHS South Cheshire Clinical Commissioning Group is asking for £83,196 in section 106 funding from Muller Property Group, following its plans to build 96 new homes, a 78-bed care home, a discount supermarket, a BP petrol station with an attached M&S Simply Food, a coffee shop, a drive-through fast food restaurant, two retail units and a farm shop.
The development, called Houndings Park, will be an edge-of-town project on land south of Old Mill Road, in Sandbach.
