Patient’s concert of thanks for hospital’s cardio unit
A man from Sandbach is organising a concert to say thank you to those who “saved his life”, after undergoing life-changing bypass surgery at the Royal Stoke University Hospital.
Eddie Timmins, (75), from Elworth, will reunite Foden’s Brass Band and Rhos Orpheus Male Voice Choir at the end of October for the first time since 2005, to show his gratitude to staff at the hospital’s coronary unit.
The two groups ended their much-loved annual shows together 14 years ago, but Mr Timmins wanted to arrange a special show for the hospital team.
