People are urged to use their democratic right

The Sandbach electorate has been urged to vote — “and vote for what your believe in”.
That was the message as the polling stations opened this morning (Thursday) in the first general election in December for almost a century.
Conservative Fiona Bruce will attempt to hold onto the Congleton Constituency as she goes up against Labour’s Jo Dale, the Lib Dems’ Paul Duffy, Green Party candidate Richard McCarthy and the Animal Welfare Party’s Jane Smith.
