Proposals unveiled for ‘Capricorn site’
An application for a mixed-use scheme on the outskirts of Sandbach including offices, a hotel, a pub and a McDonalds has been put forward, four years after the site first secured planning permission.
Applicant W&S Sandbach has revealed its plans for the plot known as the Capricorn site, which is bound by the M6 northbound slip road and Old Mill Road.
Outline planning permission for up to 250 homes, a hotel, two restaurants and offices was granted by Cheshire East in 2015. W&S Sandbach has now advanced plans to begin building the commercial element of the scheme.
