Public ‘shouldn’t have to put up with uncut grass’

Residents of an “out of the way” square have complained about the height of uncut grass amid claims it is “neglected” by the council “until there is an election coming”.
The grassed park area of Charles Square, Hassall Green, was visited by maintenance teams only five times last year, according to Allan Proudlove, who lives in the hamlet.
