On Saturday, Barnoldswick Town continued their self-styled tour of Cheshire with a visit to the Silk Stadium (writes Mike McLaughlin).
They had provided the Bears with their first opposition of this season at a time when both clubs were bursting with optimism, ambition and aspiration. Both teams put on a good showcase for the NWCFL,” said the Barnoldswick manager. The Chronicle reported: “Both teams could reflect on promising performances in a well-contested, splendid battle.”
