Biddulph Rovers U7s score new kit
Following an “excellent” start to the season, a team of young footballers have landed sponsorship from local estate and lettings agent Reeds Rains and are now sporting a new kit that they hope will spur them on to greater success.
Biddulph Rovers U7s, who are based in Congleton and play in the North Staffordshire Junior Youth, have already proved a force to be reckoned with, with several wins and the prospect of competing in the biggest football festival for youngsters in Skegness next year.
Tim Nixon, senior branch manager at Reeds Rains in Congleton, said: “With just seven in the football team, all living locally to our branch on the High Street, we believe they deserve our support in recognition of the effort and commitment they have for the game, the league and for each other.
“It’s true teamwork and we’ve been delighted to cement that with the sponsorship and, at the same time, demonstrate our support of the local community in which we work and live.
“I wish them every success in the future.”
