Good start to season for Vale Rovers

Congleton Vale Rovers played Knutsford at the weekend and held them to a 0-0 draw.
Congleton Vale Rovers — along with Styal — have had a good start to the season in the Premier Division of the Cheshire Football League. In their fifth game of the season, Congleton Vale Rovers hosted a Whaley Bridge side with only one appearance to their name thus far, a draw against Poynton a week ago. The game was tight and one that was decided by an early Aaron Cook goal. Cook struck in the sixth minute and his side held on for the next 84, plus stoppages, to claim all three points.
