Triathlete’s podium finish despite losing race gear

A triathlete won bronze in the European Championships, despite losing all his equipment just hours before the race.
James Briscoe, (24), of Mill Green, Congleton, represented Great Britain in the European Triathlon Championships in Tartu, Estonia last Saturday.
He finished third in the 20-24 age group.
Mr Briscoe had to compete with equipment he borrowed from locals after suddenly finding himself without his bike and all of his other gear due to an airport mix-up.
