BESTWICK (Margaret). Margaret, aged 86, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, 11th March 2026, at home in Congleton. She was the loved and devoted wife of the late Ted; adored mum of the late John, and cherished by Paula, Richie and Dani. COLLORICK (James, 03/03/1922- 19/03/2026). Jim, aged 104 years, passed away peacefully on Thursday, 19th March. A loving father to David and father-in-law to Jane. Jim will be missed greatly by all who knew him. The family will be having a private funeral service in his memory.
GILMAN (Arthur John). Passed away peacefully at home, with his family by his side, on 27th March 2026, Arthur, aged 99 years, of Congleton and formerly Bramhall Hill Farm, North Rode. He was the dearly loved husband of Madge; amazing and treasured dad to Chris, Dave and Jeff; and a loving granddad and brother. Family flowers only. HOOLEY (Philip James). Aged 77 years. Passed suddenly on 13th March, 2026 at Bakewell Cattle Market, doing what he loved best. Father to Clare and Lisa; granddad to Jessica and Evie; brother to Allan and Janet; father-in-law to Nigel; brother-in-law to Anne and the late Peter, as well as a friend to many. MCHALE (Neil, “Jock”). Neil passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on Sunday, 15th March 2026, at home surrounded by his loving family, aged 53. He was a cherished, loving father to Adam and Josh; much-loved granddad to Noah and Elijah, and respected brother to Sean and Peter. Neil will be lovingly remembered for his sense of humour, friendly smile, strength of character and words of wisdom, and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him. SEAL (Granville). Granville passed away peacefully on Tuesday, 24th March 2026 at his home of 63 years, surrounded by his loving family, aged 93. He was the cherished husband of Raye; loving dad to Julie and Martin; much-loved granddad of Dave, Kelly and Laura, and great-granddad to Arthur and Sadie. Granville will be lovingly remembered for his kindness to everyone, his wonderful smile and great sense of humour but mostly for the love of his family. WEATHERBY-BOON (Michael and Dorothy, née Woolley). Dorothy and Michael passed away at home in Aberdeenshire. Michael died suddenly on Thursday, 12th March; Dorothy died peacefully on Tuesday, 17th March with family at her side. Dorothy was born in Middlewich and Michael in Sandbach. They later moved to Aberdeenshire to be closer to their son Darren and his family. Devoted parents, much-loved grandparents and great-grandparents to-be, they adored their grandchildren, Luke and Hollie. Sadly missed and forever remembered. Comfort is taken in knowing they are now reunited. The family thank all who have shown kindness and support. Private family remembrance.
