MANNING (Paul James Alfred). Suddenly passed away on 9th April 2026, aged 53 years, formerly of Congleton. OAKDEN (Jill). Peacefully but suddenly in her sleep in the amazing care of Bradwell Court Care Home, Congleton, on Sunday, 12th April, aged 82 years. The much-loved wife of the late Neil, and a devoted mum, grandma, auntie, sister and sister-in-law. Jill was a devoted district nurse, midwife and Macmillan Nurse. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her. It was Jill’s wish that everyone was to wear bright colours to her funeral please. PIMLOTT (Dennis). Aged 96 years, of Congleton, died peacefully on 24th April 2026 at Heliosa Nursing Home. The dearly loved and devoted husband of the late Doris Pimlott; loving dad of David and Julie; dear father-in-law of Diane and Laurence; cherished granddad of Marcus, Lisa, Andrew, Oliver, Rebecca and Samuel, and a treasured great-granddad of Nicole, Fraser, Fearne, Lucy, Rory, Harry, Rosie and George. SALE (Reginald Kenneth, “Ken”). It is with great sadness we report that on 23rd April 2026, Reginald Kenneth Sale suddenly passed away at Royal Stoke University Hospital after a short illness. Aged 88 years, of Biddulph, he was the dearly loved son of the late Reginald and Esther Sale; a devoted brother of the late Brenda, and a much-loved uncle, great-uncle and great-great-uncle, and a special friend to many. Ken will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by his loving family and many dear friends. She was the much loved wife of the late Dennis; cherished mum of Raymond and Jean, and devoted grandma of Joe. She was also a loving mother-in-law of Simon.
