COOKE (Doris). Passed away peacefully on Saturday, 20th December 2025 at Applecroft Care Home, Congleton, surrounded by her loving family, Doris, aged 95, of Congleton. She was the cherished mum of Sandra, Susan and the late Robert and David; dear mother-in-law of David; treasured nan of Carl, Adam, Kelly, Sonny, Emma, David and Lisa, and adored great-nanny of Taylor, Alesha, Alivia, Timothy, William, Levi, Jake, Cole, Isla, Lexi, Hayden, Madison and Darcy. Doris will be missed greatly by all of her family and friends but fondly remembered. The funeral service is to be held at St Peter’s Church, Congleton, on Wednesday, 14th January at 12.30pm. POTTER (David William). On Wednesday, 17th December 2025, and passed away at home surrounded by his family, David, aged 84 years. He was a much-loved husband of the late Eileen; dad to Mandy, Julie and Adrian; granddad to Thomas, Katie, Emma, Kane, Francesca, Harry, Alfie and Oliver; great-granddad to Ronan, Wren and Elsie,and a brother, uncle and friend.
