JOHNSON (Ernest Clifford, “Cliff”). Peacefully passed away on 4th September 2025, at Royal Stoke University Hospital, Cliff, aged 81 years of Brown Lees. KNOX (Sir David Laidlaw). Died on 14th September 2025, aged 92. Married to Eva (who died in 2016), David was the son of the late JM Knox, former editor of the “Annadale Herald and Record” and the late CHC Knox. David was the Member of Parliament for Leek 1970-1983 and for the Staffordshire Moorlands 1983-1997. He is deeply missed by his step-son Kenneth, his nephews David, Neil and Bruce and friends. PARROTT (Molly, “Lee”). On Friday, 5th September 2025, peacefully in hospital, with Keith, her husband of 67 years, at her side, Molly aged 87 years. Molly will be greatly missed by all who knew her, not only through exercise classes but through her loyal partnership with Keith in Scouting and the Churches, where he was a Lay Minister.
