Congleton Town Council is again running its Halloween half-term celebration.
Families can look forward to a mix of free activities designed to bring the community together in seasonal fun.
The popular Halloween Trail returns from Saturday, 25th October to Saturday, 1st November, supported by more than 40 town centre businesses.
Families are invited to hunt for spooky clues hidden in shop windows, uncover a secret message and return their completed sheet to Congleton Information Centre to claim a terrifying treat.
The trail is free to join and offers a way to explore the high street, support local shops, and enjoy a family day out.
Trail leaflets, available soon, can be collected from the information centre or downloaded at home.
Adding to the excitement is Witchy Wednesday at Congleton Town Hall on Wednesday, 29th October.
The ticketed event offers children a frightfully fun time with activities including pumpkin carving, creepy crafts, face painting, scary cake decorating and a fancy-dress competition.
Tickets for Witchy Wednesday are available from Congleton Information Centre or online via TicketSource, searching for “Congleton Town Council”.
Tickets cost £2 per child, with three different time slots available at 11am, 12.30pm and 2pm. Adults do not need to buy tickets, but children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
To ensure as many families as possible can take part, organisers are asking attendees to cancel tickets if plans change and book only one session per child.
