Music, laughter and plenty of good cheer are on the way later this month as the South Cheshire George Formby Society hosts its next ukulele fun night.
The open mic concert will take place on Friday, 24th October at 7.30pm in Wistaston Memorial Hall, Church Lane, Wistaston (CW2 8ER).
For just £2 per person, guests can enjoy an evening packed with uplifting tunes, singalong favourites and warm camaraderie, performed by talented society members and enthusiastic newcomers. While the ukulele takes centre stage, expect a mix of musical surprises as other instruments join the fun, (ITALICS writes Jonathan White).
Since forming in 1994, the South Cheshire George Formby Society has been keeping the spirit of the legendary entertainer alive, celebrating his wit, warmth and unmistakable style, under the leadership of Gail and Simon Kinrade.
Ukulele fun nights are also scheduled for 28th November and 19th December.
Whether seasoned performer, curious beginner or looking for an entertaining night out, all are welcome.
