East Cheshire Chamber of Commerce hosted its Christmas lunch at Pecks Restaurant in Congleton.
More than 75 guests attended the event, which is a long-standing highlight of the chamber’s calendar and a fitting start to the festive season.
A festive raffle was held in aid of the chamber’s charity of the year, East Cheshire Hospice. It raised £720.
The chamber reported being “overwhelmed” by the generosity of local Congleton businesses with raffle prizes, including Bargain Booze at West Heath, Morrisons, Tesco, Boots, and chamber member De Vere Cranage Estate, which donated a one-night stay with breakfast.
The total raised was described as “a testament to the kindness and community spirit shared across the chamber membership”.
The chamber’s forthcoming business awards, scheduled for March 2026, were also announced.
