A retro music event is returning to Stoke-on-Trent next month, with organisers promising an afternoon of classic disco, soul and pop hits for longer in the tooth ravers dancers.
Disco for Grown Ups, billed as the UK’s biggest original disco party, will bring its first show of 2026 to the King’s Hall on Saturday, 31st January, offering a day-time version of the event.
The party runs from 2pm to 6.30pm, allowing revellers to enjoy the full experience while still getting home early.
The event features music from the 70s, 80s and 90s, confetti showers, stage dancers and a full light and laser show.
Live singer “Disco Diva” Maria will also perform a selection of disco favourites. Free glow sticks and retro sweets will be handed out to guests.
Organisers said the afternoon format was designed to give people a chance to enjoy a night-out atmosphere without the late finish. Similar events have been held in Congleton.
The disco takes place at King’s Hall, tickets from eventbrite.co.uk (“day time disco for grown ups 70s 80s and 90s kings hall tickets”).
