BARNARD (Jennifer). Passed away peacefully at Greengables Care Home, Congleton on 7th February 2022, Jenny, aged 75, of Sandbach. The beloved wife of Alan; dearly-loved mum to James, and a treasured grandma. The funeral service is at St Luke’s Church, Holmes Chapel, on Monday, 21st February at 1pm, followed by interment in the churchyard. CARTLIDGE (Elaine). Elaine passed away peacefully on Wednesday, 2nd February 2022 at Tall Oaks Nursing home, Biddulph, aged 82. The cherished wife of the late Terry; loving mother to Gary and daughter-in-law Michele; much loved nanny to Sam, and respected sister to Leslie, Susan and the late Shirley. Elaine will be lovingly remembered and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her. The funeral will be held at Birches Crematorium, Northwich, at 1pm on Monday, 14th February. The family are truly grateful for all the kind messages of condolences and cards that have been sent in Elaine’s memory. We request that instead of flowers, donations can be made to Dementia UK. ELDS (Pauline Hilda). Passed away peacefully in the presence of her loving family on Thursday, 27th January 2022 at Royal Stoke University Hospital following a short illness, Pauline, aged 77, of Chell Green. The devoted and much-loved wife of Jim, and dearly loved mum of Gary and Christopher. Pauline will be sadly missed by but fondly remembered by all her family and friends. The service is at Carmountside Crematorium on Friday, 25th February at 3pm. Would friends wishing to attend kindly meet at the crematorium. EVERETT (Eileen Margaret Ann). Peacefully at Macclesfield District General Hospital on Friday, 28th January 2022, Eileen, aged 87, of Goostrey. The dearly beloved wife of the late David; much-loved mother of Shaun and Jane, and a treasured sister and nan. The funeral takes place on Monday, 28th February at noon at St Luke’s Church, Goostrey. HENSHALL (Dorothy). Peacefully passed away at her home address on 20th January 2022, with her loving partner by her side, Dorothy, aged 82, of Biddulph. The dearly loved partner of Tom; devoted mum of Paul, Christine and Teresa; much-loved nanna of Rebecca and Jamie, and a special friend to many. Dorothy will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her loving family, and friends. The funeral service is on Friday, 25th February at 2.30pm to celebrate the life of Dorothy at Biddulph Methodist Church, followed by committal at Carmountside Crematorium. LOMAS (Gordon). Peacefully on Friday, 21st January 2022 at Park Lane Nursing Home, Gordon, aged 85, of Knypersley. The beloved and devoted husband of Pam; loving uncle of Ceri, Jessica and Thomas; dearest cousin of Jane, Steve and Adrian; much-loved brother-in-law, and a very dear friend and neighbour to many. Gordon will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. The funeral service will take place at Biddulph Methodist Church on Thursday, 17th February at noon, prior to interment at St Lawrence’s Churchyard. A loving and treasured mum of Louise and Linda and grandmother of baby Gracelyn; cherished sister of the late Mabel; caring sister-in-law to the late George; dearest mother-in-law to Keith and his daughter Sasha; much-loved auntie to Sharon and the late Darren, and very dear neighbour to many. Brenda will be deeply missed by all her loving family and friends. The funeral service is to take place at St Mary’s RC Church, Congleton, on Friday, 4th March at 10.15am prior to committal at Macclesfield Crematorium. WHITEHURST (Mark). Passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on 5th February 2022, Mark, aged 61, of Sandbach. WITHEY (Melvyn John). Peacefully on 28th January 2022 at his home, Melvyn “Mel” John, aged 65, of Congleton and formerly of Biddulph. The dearly loved and devoted husband of Jill; loving dad of Christopher and David and step-dad of Emma and Claire; dear father-in-law of Karen and a cherished granddad of Dulcie, Oliver and Harry. The cortege leaves his home at 10.15am on Friday, 18th February for a service and cremation at Macclesfield Crematorium at 10.45am.
