ASHWOOD (née Sharpe). Peacefully on 7th September 2024, at Clayton Manor Nursing Home, Sheila Anne, aged 88, of Polesworth. The dearly loved and devoted wife of Donald; loving mum of Suzanne and Andrew; dear mother-in-law of Stephen and Catherine, and a cherished and treasured gran of Ellie, Tom and Elise. BAILEY (Irene). Peacefully at rest at Leighton Hospital in the presence of her loving family on Wednesday, 25th September 2024, Irene, aged 93, of Scholar Green. The devoted and loving wife of the late Ted; much-loved mum of Ann, Carol, Barbara, Susan and George; and a special mother-in-law, nanna, great-nanna, great-great-nanna and sister. Irene will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all her family and friends. The funeral service and interment are to take place at All Saints’ Church, Odd Rode, on Monday, 14th October at noon. CARMAN (Cyril David). Passed away peacefully in his sleep on 24th September 2024 at Spring Bank Nursing Home, Knypersley, Cyril, aged 90, of Congleton. A devoted husband of the late June; dearly loved dad of David and Debbie; cherished father-in-law of Nicola and Simon; much-loved granddad and great-granddad, and a special brother of Gwen “Babs” and the late Vic and John.
