LOVATT (Matthew, “Matt”). Matt passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday 26th August 2026, aged 56, in the loving arms of his devoted wife, Jenny. Matt was a kind and gentle soul whose warmth and caring nature touched the lives of everyone who knew him. He was a much-loved husband, son, brother, son-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle, nephew and friend. His loss will be deeply felt and he will be remembered with great affection by all his family and friends. A celebration of Matt’s life will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Thursday, 17th September at 12.15pm. Will all friends please meet at the crematorium. NIXON (John). Peacefully on 27th August, of Clayton, and formerly of Biddulph, aged 78. Husband of Sylvia, father of Laura and John, and a father-in-law and granddad. PARKER (Robert Neil). Robert “Neil” Parker of Goostrey died on 15th August 2026, aged 84 years. He was the dearly loved husband of Anne; much-loved father of Paul, Neil, Rebecca and Annabel, and a beloved grandpa.
