BROWN (Michael) Peacefully on 31st May 2022, at Macclesfield District General Hospital, Michael Thomas, aged 79 years, of Congleton. The loving dad of Anthony and Michael; dear father-in-law of Julianne and Andrea; cherished granddad of Bradli, Ebony, Sarah, Amy and Lucy, and a treasured great-granddad of Harlow and Hudson. The funeral service and cremation are to take place at Crewe Crematorium on Friday, 24th June at 1pm. CHAPMAN (Margaret Ann). Passed away peacefully at Leighton Hospital on 12th June 2022, Margaret, aged 75 years, of Sandbach. The much-loved wife of the late Robin; best mum to Neil, Sharon, Adrian and Kelly; devoted nan to Jodie, Abbie, Georgia, Freya, Robbie, Lyndon, Jessica and Thomas, and wonderful great-nan to Maiya, Elisia and Grace. FOSTER (Steve). Steve passed away peacefully on Sunday, 5th June 2022 at East Cheshire Hospice. The much-loved son of Hilda and brother of Debbie and Jane. A loyal friend to many. Steven will be lovingly remembered for his wry sense of humour and love for his family and friends, his passion for Stoke City football Club, music and horse racing. He was also a former employee of both the Congleton Chronicle and the Stoke Sentinel, the latter for 18 years. The funeral will be held at Birches Crematorium, Northwich, on 21st June at 1pm. The family are truly grateful for all the kind messages of condolence and cards that have been sent in Steve’s memory. We request that instead of flowers, donations can be made to East Cheshire Hospice, who cared for Steve so lovingly throughout his illness and in his final days. SIMMS (Margaret June, nee Brundrett). Peacefully, following a short illness, surrounded by her family, Margaret, aged 88 years, passed away on Sunday, 5th June 2022. She was formerly of Endon and then Northwich. The loving wife of the late Graham; devoted mum to Suzanne and Nigel; treasured grandma to Hannah, Robert, Jessica and Edward, and a very much loved great grandma to Beatrice. Family flowers only. STREET (Raymond Geoffrey, “Ray”). Managing Director of RG and ME Street and Son Ltd, Cranage. It is with great sadness that the family announce Ray passed away in hospital on Thursday, 9th June 2022, aged 67 years. The dearly loved husband of Margaret; much-loved dad to Christopher and father-in-law to Taz; treasured “Ga Ga Ray”; dear brother to Mike, Carole and Naomi, and friend to many. Family flowers only. TAYLOR (Dorothy “Dot”, nee Smith). Founder member of Biddulph Green Fingers Club. Peacefully on Monday, 6th June 2022 in the comfort of her loving home, surrounded by family, Dot, aged 76, of Biddulph and formerly of Morecambe, Lancashire. The dearly loved sister of the late Edwin Smith “Eddie”; a devoted and much-loved friend to Jean and Betty; and a loving mum, aunt, and a dearest friend to so many. Dorothy was a beautiful soul with true grit and character and for that she will be so deeply and sadly missed by all who knew her. She touched the lives of many. The funeral service will take place at Carmountside Crematorium on Monday, 27th June at 1pm. WALLEY (Andrew, Andy). Peacefully at rest on Monday, 6th June 2022 at the Royal Stoke University Hospital, Andy, aged 60 years, of Biddulph. The dearly loved and cherished husband of Angela; the much-loved stepdad of Tanya and Marie; a treasured granddad of Evie-Rose; a loving son of Jean, and a dearly loved brother, brother-in-law, cousin and uncle. Andy will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all his loving family and friends.
