BOND (Richard Christopher, “Chris”). Took his last breath Friday, 20th August, ending a life lived full with family and friends. The loving husband of Cornelia (Corry); wonderful father to Andrew, Stefan and Ashley Bond, and doting grandfather to four boys. Chris’s warmth and undemanding generosity has shaped the lives of many, with a strong legacy to be proud of. A celebration of life will be held at Holy Trinity Church, Mossley, at 1pm on Sunday, 19th September. Please, no flowers. If desired donations may be made to Parkinson’s UK. BROUGH (Cynthia Cicely). Passed away peacefully at Leighton Hospital on 25th August 2021, Cynthia, aged 85 years, of Ettiley Heath. The much loved wife of Sam; treasured Mum to Karen, Audrey, Jacqueline, Diane, Steven, Jason and the late Gary, and a nanna and great nanna. BUTLER (Dora). Peacefully on Monday, 23rd August 2021, at Treetops Court Care Home, Leek, Dora aged 98, of Biddulph. The devoted and beloved wife of the late Jack; treasured mum of Paul and the late Carol, Anne and Keith; dearest mother-in-law to Peter and Glenys; cherished grandma of Jane, Andrew, Claire and the late Peter; dearest sister of Harry; a much loved great-grandma and great-great-grandma; a loving sister-in-law, aunt and a very dear friend to many. Dora will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all her family and many friends. The funeral service will take place at Biddulph Methodist Church on Monday, 13th September at 2.15pm prior to a committal service at Carmountside Crematorium. DALE (Ray). Peacefully at rest on Thursday, 5th August 2021, while at Wythenshawe Hospital, Manchester, in the presence of his loving family, Ray, aged 80, of Congleton. He was a much loved dad, Poppy, Great-Poppy, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and cousin. Ray will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all his family and friends.
