Datastor Systems is a leading supplier of Integrated Process Control and Information Management Solutions, with a customer base both UK and worldwide.

Datastor was recently acquired by Valsoft, a Canadian company, whose focus is to acquire and grow vertical software businesses that provide mission-critical solutions in their respective niche or market. We are looking for a Commissioning / Project Engineer with electrical engineering qualifications, this is a key role for an individual with proven experience in, installation / commissioning activities, having project management experience would be an advantage but not essential.

Experience in diagnosing problems and fault finding on complex control applications.

Key skills:

  • Proven Electrical background is essential for this role.
  • Experience in diagnosing problems and fault finding within automated control applications – Ability to read and interpret electrical engineering schematics.
  • Strong technical background.
  • Project engineering experience desirable.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Able to work and remain calm under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. – Flexible approach to work – willing to travel and stay away from home.
  • Hold full driving licence

You will be capable of working within a team or independently on the complete project life cycle, including Installation, commissioning and customer support. As this is a customer focused role you must have a flexible approach to work with a positive attitude. Site and Facilities Manager – Eaton Bank Academy, Congleton

Full time (37 hours per week Monday to Friday)

Grade 7 £24,491 – £27,741 negotiable

Eaton Bank Academy has a vacancy for a highly conscientious and skilled individual to take on the role of Site and Facilities Manager. The purpose of this role is to manage, maintain and improve the Academy’s site and facilities, including the health and safety of the environment. You will oversee and be supported by a team of caretaking and cleaning staff and a school bus driver.

Qualifications, skills and personal qualities required include:

  • High standards of literacy, numeracy, ICT and communication skills
  • Very high standards of honesty and integrity
  • Previous experience in a supervisory capacity
  • Experience of managing contractors
  • Enthusiastic and willing to offer a customer service approach to facilities management
