CARROLL (John). Passed away peacefully at Clayton Manor Care Home in Congleton on 22nd November 2025, aged 81 years. The dear dad of Jane and partner Dave, and much-loved brother of Peter. The funeral service is to be held at Macclesfield Crematorium on Wednesday, 17th December at 12.15pm, family flowers only please. HALFPENNY (Dorothy Mary). Peacefully on Friday, 28th November 2025, in the presence of her loving family and the wonderful staff at Davlyn House Care Home, Dorothy, aged 90 years of Biddulph. The devoted and beloved wife of the late Harold; loving mum to Jacqueline, Carole, Sandra and the late Steven; dearest mother-in-law to Mick, John, Mike, Trisha and Tom; cherished nana of Emma, Wayne, James, Marcus, Daniel, Lloyd, Rebecca, Christopher, Monica and Tosia; great-nana to Thomas and Isabelle; dear sister of Iris, Eric, Robert and wife Pauline and the late John and partner Diane, and a good friend to many. Dorothy will be sadly missed and always remembered with love. The funeral service will take place at Carmountside Crematorium on Tuesday, 23rd December at 10.30am. HOPLEY (Frederick John). Passed away suddenly but peacefully on Wednesday, 26th November 2025, at Macclesfield District General Hospital, Fred, aged 88 years, of Congleton, and formerly of Stoke. The dearly loved husband of Sheila and much-missed dad of Gary, Fred will be sadly missed by all who knew him, but fondly remembered. MORGAN (Barbara, Bambi, née Shone). Suddenly but peacefully in Leighton Hospital on 24th November, aged 85 years.
