BLOOR (Marjorie Maureen). Passed away peacefully on 9th May 2023, Maureen, aged 92, of Haslington. The devoted wife of the late Dennis; dearly loved mum to Barbara, David, Ian and Philip, and a much-loved mother-in-law, grandma and great-grandma. The funeral service is at St Matthew’s Church, Haslington, on Thursday, 25th May at 11am, followed by interment in the churchyard. BURGGY (Brian). Brian passed away peacefully on Friday, 5th May 2023 at home in the care of his loving family, aged 88. The devoted husband of Pat; loving father to Ann, David and Karen; much-loved granddad to Jess, Emily, Alice, Will and Matt, and cherished great-granddad to Rory and Theo. Brian will be lovingly remembered for his gentle nature and kind personality, along with his love of gardening and wonderful holidays spent travelling with Pat. He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him. The funeral will be held at Birches Crematorium, Northwich, at 1pm on Thursday, 18th May. Will friends please accept this notice as an invitation to join us in celebrating Brian’s life. The family is truly grateful for all the kind messages of condolences and cards that have been sent in Brian’s memory. GARNER (David Howard). Peacefully passed away in the loving care of Springbank Nursing Home on 22nd April 2023, David, aged 84, of Knypersley. The devoted husband of Jean; dearly loved dad of Jackie and partner Paul; much-loved granddad of Joshua, and great-grandad of Tyler, and a special brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many. David will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by his family and friends. The funeral service is at Carmountside Crematorium on 19th May at 1pm. ROWLEY (Alfred Frederick, “Fred”). Peacefully on 19th April 2023 at home, Alfred “Fred” Frederick, aged 95, of Congleton. The dearly loved and devoted husband of the late Vera, and cherished granddad of Jayne. WOOD (Betty Elizabeth). Betty passed away peacefully at home, aged 92, on 22nd April 2023, surrounded by her loving family. The beloved wife to the late Joe; cherished mum to Julie, Paul, Jill, Jane and Sherie; and a dearly loved grandma to eight grandchildren and dearest great-grandma to 11 great-grandchildren. Betty was a much-loved family member and highly valued friend who will be sadly missed but fondly remembered.
