CHAPPELL. Peacefully on 17th March 2023 at Macclesfield District General Hospital. Annie Patricia “Pat”, aged 93, of Congleton. The dearly loved and devoted wife of the late Percy Chappell. Loving mum of John, James and David. Cortege is to leave her home on Wednesday, 26th April at 11.45am for service at St Peter’s Church, Congleton at noon, prior to interment at Congleton Town Cemetery. CUNLIFFE (Ian “Jibber”). Passed away at Macclesfield District General Hospital on Friday, 31st March 2023. Ian, aged 75, of Congleton. The loved husband of the late Joan and Sylvia, cherished dad of David, Andrew and Louise, dear step-dad of Tessa and Paul, treasured granddad of Lauren, Kyle, Angelina, Mo, Richard and Sarah, brother of the late David and John, a much loved uncle and great-uncle to many. Jibber will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him. The funeral service will be held at Macclesfield Crematorium on Friday, 28th April at 10am. SUMNALL (Margaret Amelia Brindley). Entered eternal rest on Friday, 31st March 2023 at RSUH. Margaret, aged 83, of Biddulph. A truly devoted and wonderful wife of Edwin, cherished mum of Frank, Karen and Mark, treasured nan of Karl, Will and Jade Amelia, a beloved sister of the late John, a dear sister-in-law to Eileen, a much-loved aunt and a very dear friend and neighbour to many. Margaret will be sadly missed by all her loving family and friends. A service of thanksgiving will take place at St Lawrence’s Church, Biddulph, on Tuesday, 25th April at noon prior to a committal service at Bradwell Crematorium. A devoted wife, dearly loved mum and step-mother, much loved mamma and great-mamma, cherished member of her extended family and also a special friend to many. A funeral to celebrate Thelma’s life will be held at 1.30pm on Tuesday, 18th April at St Lawrence’s Church, Biddulph.
