BAILEY (Jesse). At rest on 6th June, 2021, at his home on Cloudside. Jesse, aged 76, dearly loved husband of Pat, much loved dad of Sharon and Jesse, treasured granddad of Kerry, Siobhan, Andrew and Laura, dearest brother of Christine and Valerie and uncle of Christopher. Funeral Wednesday, 23rd June. Service at St Lawrence’s Church, Rushton, at 11.30am followed by private interment on his own land. BEECH (Michael Anthony “Mick”). Suddenly but peacefully on Friday, 4th June, 2021, while at RSUH with his loving wife and niece by his side. Mick, aged 77, of Biddulph. The most dearly loved and devoted husband of Gillian (Gill), a dearest brother-in-law to Gordon, Robert, Kath and Margaret, much loved uncle, great-uncle and a very dear friend and neighbour. The funeral service will take place at Biddulph Methodist Church on Wednesday, 30th June at 11am, prior to a committal service at Bradwell crematorium. BEECH. Peacefully on 9th June, 2021, at Macclesfield District General Hospital. Elsie, aged 84, who was born in Prospect Street, Congleton. Dearly loved and devoted wife of Derek William Beech. Mother to Mark and loving son Grant and former daughter-in-law Vivian, the youngest sibling of seven to Jim, Brenda and the late Annice, late Joe, late Roy, late Lillian and the late Elsie. BOOTH (Nora, nee Mellor). Peacefully passed away at Ernvale House Care Centre, Cheddleton, on 6th June, 2021. Nora, aged 94, of Biddulph. Devoted wife of the late Claude, loving mum of John and Sandra, dearly loved mother-in-law of Susan and William, devoted nan of Nicola, Sharon, and Richard, loving great-nanny of Alex, Chloe, Megan, Harry, Lola, Milo and the late Darcy, also a special sister, auntie and friend to many. Nora will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her family, friends and neighbours. A funeral service is to be held to celebrate the life of Nora. BRICE (Basil John Bonamy). Passed away peacefully at home on Monday, 7th June, 2021. Basil, aged 89, beloved husband of Jean, and a much-loved dad and granddad. LARVIN (Pamela). Peacefully on Wednesday, 9th June, surrounded by her loving family, aged 62. The dearly devoted and loving wife of Ian, cherished mum of Gemma and Abigail, adored Nanny of Isabella, Emilia, Grace and Charlie, much loved mother-in-law to Dean, Jason and Craig, and a treasured friend to many. Pam will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by everyone who knew her. Pam’s celebration of life will take place at Birches Crematorium, Northwich, on Saturday, 26th June at 1pm. LEESE (Michael Thomas “Mick”). Suddenly on Saturday, 5th June, 2021, while at home. Mick, aged 63, of Scholar Green. The dearly loved and treasured husband of Jean, proud and devoted dad of Carla, a special father-in-law of Matt, cherished granddad of Adam and Nathan, and a much loved brother, brother-in-law, uncle, nephew, cousin and godfather. NEILL (Robert Watson Kerr M.B.Ch.B F.R.C.S). Retired consultant general surgeon. Died, 6th June 2021, in the tender loving care of staff on ward two, with devoted family at his bedside, in Macclesfield District General Hospital, aged 87. NORTON (Elizabeth). Passed away peacefully in East Cheshire Hospice on Sunday, 6th June, 2021. Liz, aged 76. Beloved wife of the late John Norton. THOMAS (Michael “Mike”). Suddenly and unexpectedly at home on 19th May, 2021. Michael, aged 72, of Norton, formerly of Biddulph. Loving son of Joan, dearly loved dad of David and Mark, and their partners Rama and Deborah, devoted granddad of Analicia, Sophia, Samuel, Andrew and Jasmine, very dear brother of Marilyn, Helen and Ivan, also a dear uncle, cousin and brother-in-law. Michael will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his family, friends and neighbours. A service to celebrate Michael’s life will take place at a later date.
