BICKERTON (Margaret). On Monday, 8th November, 2021. Peacefully in hospital. Formerly of Third Avenue, Sandbach. Margaret, aged 100. Beloved wife of the late William “Bill” Bickerton and a much loved mum, gran and great-gran. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, 25th November, 2021, at St Mary’s Church, Sandbach at 1.30pm, prior to committal at Crewe Crematorium. CARTER (Pauline). Peacefully at rest on Monday, 8th November, 2021, at her home, aged 78. Dearly loved wife of Brian, mother of Damian and Andrea, grandmother of Laurie, Keeli, Callum and Cole. Pauline was a loving family member and a wonderful special friend to all who knew her. We are all left with lots of wonderful memories of her. FYNNEY (Frank). Peacefully at rest on Thursday, 4th November, 2021, at Royal Stoke University Hospital. Frank, aged 79, of Biddulph. Devoted husband of Josephine, cherished father to Joanne, Justin and Helen and Susan and Diane, dearly loved granddad to Charlotte, Brandon and Cameron, treasured father-in-law to Paul, Andy and Pete, beloved brother to Glenys and John, dear brother-in-law to Robert, also precious uncle to Louise and Nigel. Frank was someone very special and will be greatly missed by his loving family and many friends. Funeral to take place at St Lawrence’s Church, Biddulph, on Friday, 26th November at 2.30pm, followed by interment at Woodhouse Burial Ground. Family flowers only, please. GIBSON (Marina “Jean”, nee Stonier). Peacefully passed away on 7th November, 2021, after a short illness borne with dignity and courage at Douglas Macmillan Hospice, with her loving family by her side. Jean, aged 84, of Biddulph Moor. Devoted wife of Abe, dearly loved mum of Chris and Samantha, mother-in-law of Karen and Andrew, much loved mamar of Alex, Dan and Ellie, loving great-mamar of Kresley, cherished sister of Russell also a dear sister-in-law, aunt and friend to many. Jean will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by her family and friends. A funeral service to celebrate Jean’s life will take place at Bradwell Crematorium on Thursday, 25th November at 12.40pm. LONGSHAW (Jeff). Suddenly on Thursday, 4th November, 2021, at River Dane Holiday Park. Jeff, aged 29, of Congleton. A precious son of Bev and Mick, loving brother of Dale, loved brother-in-law of Adele, treasured grandson of Gill and Jean, much loved partner of Jaz and a much loved nephew and friend. Jeff will be deeply missed by all his loving family and many friends. A service to celebrate Jeff’s life will take place at St Mary’s Church, Astbury on Monday, 29th November at 1pm prior to interment at Astbury Cemetery.
