BAKER (Shirley Patricia). Suddenly and unexpectedly, Shirley, aged 86, of Biddulph. The loving wife of the late Malcolm John; devoted mum of Alison, Catherine and David; dear mum-in-law of Ian and Rob; dear gran of Daniel and partner Amy, Adam and Oliver; great-gran of Malia; sister of John; sister-in-law of Pauline; auntie of Andrew and Rebecca, and a friend to many. The funeral service is on Tuesday, 31st May at St Lawrence’s Church, Biddulph, at noon, followed by interment at Biddulph Town Burial Ground. BROWN (Jayne Louise). Peacefully on Wednesday, 4th May 2022, Jayne, aged 64, and late of Congleton. The dearly loved wife of Owen George Brown; loving mummy to the late Olivia-Rose Brown; treasured sister and auntie; and a cherished sister-in-law, great-auntie and cousin. CHILDS (Margaret, formerly Rogan). Margaret passed away peacefully at home in Congleton on Wednesday, 4th May 2022, aged 73. A much-loved and devoted wife of John; a beloved mum of Ivan and Clare; a loved sister of Alison; a treasured grandma of Emma, Lydia, and Oliver, and a loved step-grandma of Adam, Ben, Lauren, Callum, Erin, and Declan. Margaret will be sadly missed by all her loving family and friends. The funeral service takes place at Holy Trinity Church, Mossley, on Wednesday, 1st June at 1.30pm prior to committal at Macclesfield Crematorium. GALLEY. Peacefully on 3rd May 2022 at Priesty Fields Care Home, Irene Dorothy, aged 98, of Congleton. MOORE (George Dunn). Passed away peacefully at Church Terrace Nursing Home, Cheadle, on 3rd May 2022, George, aged 81, of Biddulph, and formerly of Gateshead. The devoted husband of Pat; dearly loved dad of Kim, Georgie, Mark and the late Jason; cherished father-in-law of Elsie and Maurice; much-loved granddad of Charlotte and Sammy, and a special brother, uncle and friend to many. George will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his family and friends. A funeral service on Thursday, 26th May at 11am to celebrate the life of George will take place at St John’s Church, Knypersley, followed by committal at Biddulph Town Burial Ground.
