BARTHORPE (Gemma). Gemma passed away peacefully on Friday, 7th July 2023 at Priesty Fields Care Home, surrounded by her loving family and friends, aged 49. The cherished daughter and step-daughter of Linda and Rob; loved daughter of Barry; much-loved sister of Sean and Jess; treasured auntie to Paige, Myles, Ava and Hugo and great-auntie of Penelope Pearl; great-niece to Auntie Bertha, and friend to many. Gemma will be lovingly remembered for her sense of humour, friendly smile, unassuming nature and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her. The funeral service is at Birches Crematorium, Lach Dennis, (CW9 7SU), at noon on Friday, 28th July. Will friends please accept this notice as an invitation to join us in celebrating Gemma’s life. BOWEN (Alison Patricia). It is with great sadness we announce the death of Alison, who died peacefully at home on 23rd June 2023. Alison was the beloved mother of Maurice; daughter of Patricia and Patrick; sister to Helen and Baltasar, and aunt to Africa and Luna. BROCKHURST (Hilda). Peacefully on Monday, 10th July 2023. Hilda, aged 87, and late of Congleton. Devoted wife of Roy; loving mum to Fiona and Andrea, and a treasured grandma of Louis and Mollie. Hilda will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her. The funeral service is at The Birches Crematorium, Lach Dennis, Northwich, on Wednesday, 26th July at 11am. BROWN (Ralph). Peacefully on 30th June 2023 at Royal Stoke University Hospital, Ralph, aged 79, of Biddulph Moor. The dearly loved and devoted husband of Eileen; loving dad of Darren and Gareth; dear father-in-law of Amanda and Francine, and a cherished and treasured granddad. The cortege is to leave his home on Thursday, 27th July at 10.40am for a service at St Lawrence’s Church, Biddulph, at 11am, prior to interment at Hill Top Methodist Church. CLIFF (Eileen Joan). Passed away peacefully at home on 7th July 2023, Eileen, aged 96, of Alsager. A devoted former children’s nurse. Much loved and cherished by all her family. HADFIELD (John). Passed away on Monday, 10th July 2023, aged 79. The loving husband of the late Susan, and caring dad to Andrew and his partner Julie. David will be lovingly remembered for his passion for football, his sense of humour, warm personality, friendly smile, love of gardening and carpentry, strength of character, words of wisdom, unassuming nature and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him. It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family sadly announces that David, of Knypersley, passed away suddenly on holiday in Yorkshire, on Wednesday, 12th July 2023, aged 64. A devoted and beloved husband of Sandy; cherished and adored dad of Sarah; treasured son of Tom and Beryl; loving brother of John, Kevin and the late Stephen; a dear brother-in-law and uncle, and a very good friend, neighbour and colleague to many. David was well respected and loved by all who were fortunate to know him. He touched the lives of many. WYSOCZAN (Jason Daniel). Unexpectedly passed away on 2nd July 2023, Jason, of Biddulph, aged 35. Devoted husband to Sarah; loving dad to Alicia, Jaidan and Lacie, and a much-loved son, son-in-law, grandson, step-brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, brother-in-law and friend. Jason will be sadly missed by many. The cortege leaves his home at 10.30am for a service and burial at St Lawrence’s Church, Biddulph, on Monday, 24th July at 11am.
