BURROWS (Keith). Passed away peacefully at Leighton Hospital on 17th June 2023, Keith, aged 71, of Sandbach. The devoted husband of Norma; much-loved dad to Natalie and Tom; step-dad to Katherine, Helen and Charlotte, and a loving brother and treasured granddad. The funeral service is at St Mary’s Church, Sandbach, on Monday, 3rd July at 11.30am, followed by committal at Birches Crematorium. FOWLER (Kathleen). Peacefully passed away on 4th June 2023, at Springbank Nursing Home, aged 84. The cherished wife of the late Ronald, and a dearly loved cousin and a beloved auntie. Kathleen was a beloved family member and friend who will be sadly missed but fondly remembered. The cremation takes place at Bradwell Crematorium on Monday, 3rd July at 10.40am followed by a service at Christ Church, Biddulph Moor at 11.45am. FRYER (Alan). Peacefully passed away on 8th June 2023 at his home, with his loving family by his side, Alan, aged 89, of Knypersley, and formerly of Newchapel and Lask Edge. The devoted husband of the late Gwen; dearly loved dad of Clint, Wend and Ant; much-loved granddad and great-granddad, and a special brother of Tony, Terry, Heather and Bill. Alan will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by his loving family and friends. A service is to be held to celebrate the life of Alan at St John’s Church, Knypersley, on Wednesday, 28th June at 1.30pm. Would mourners wishing to attend please meet at the church. KIRKHAM (Ivan John, proprietor of Wilson’s Funeral Directors). Peacefully at rest on Monday, 5th June 2023 at Leighton Hospital, Crewe, Ivan, aged 81, of Scholar Green. The devoted and loving husband of Celia; much-loved dad of Samantha and Rogena; a special father-in-law of Adrian and Nick; cherished granddad of Ethan and Oskar; a loved brother and brother-in-law of Franklyn and Ann, Stan and Eunice, Robert and Kath, Beryl and the late Willis, and a dear uncle and cousin. Ivan will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all his family, friends and work colleagues. Please join us in remembering and honouring the life of Ivan. MICKLE (Joyce). Joyce passed away peacefully on Wednesday, 14th June 2023 at Royal Stoke University Hospital, aged 88. The loving mother to Heather and Gary and a devoted sister to John, Ronald, and Susan. Joyce was also a loyal friend and a much-loved auntie. Joyce will be lovingly remembered for her warm personality and strength of character and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her. The funeral will be held at Birches Crematorium, near Holmes Chapel, at 11am on Thursday, 6th July. Will friends please accept this notice as an invitation to join us in celebrating Joyce’s life. The family is truly grateful for all the kind messages of condolence and cards that have been sent in Joyce’s memory. PICKERING (Raymond, “Ray”). Entered eternal rest while on holiday in Liscallyroan, County Leitrim, on Friday, 26th May 2023, Ray, aged 85, of Congleton. The dearly beloved husband of the late Josie, reunited at last. A devoted and loving dad of Dave and partner Gill; treasured granddad of Kieron and Blaine; great-granddad to Cody, Harper and Willow; dearest brother of Pat, Valerie and Angela; a much-loved brother-in-law and uncle, and a good friend and neighbour to many. Ray will be greatly missed by all his loving family and friends. The funeral service is at Bradwell Crematorium on Monday, 26th June at 11.20am. SMITH (Damon Paul). It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce that Damon passed away at home on 16th June 2023, aged 60, following a long illness, surrounded by his adoring family. Damon was a much-loved family member and friend who will be sadly missed but fondly remembered.
